Together we ensure AANHPIs are seen in our full humanity on the biggest stages, in classrooms, and through authentic storytelling.
Our Approach
We combat misrepresentation through research, education, and authentic storytelling that uplifts our community and fosters understanding among other communities.
We do this by:
Building a greater understanding of key issues related to AANHPI misperceptions and misinformation through our research. With this information we prioritize solutions to reduce harmful stereotypes.
Developing talent pipelines and supporting AANHPI decision-makers and creatives. We increase the production of authentic stories on stages, film, and television, and ensure broader representation of AANHPI voices in mainstream media and journalism.
Increasing access to high-quality curricular materials and teacher training opportunities. We’re expanding the teaching of AANHPI history in K-12 schools.
