Lights, Camera, AANHPI!: A Creative Development Directory

In our vision for Narrative Change, TAAF and our partners are building a world where authentic AANHPI stories are commonplace—taught in classrooms, centered in writers’ rooms, sought after by publishers and featured on stages, screens and streaming services worldwide. But to achieve this reality requires us to examine the one we live in today – one where AANHPI creatives don’t feel safe and supported to tell their stories, let alone have equal opportunities to bring those stories to life.

(Learn more about the challenges AANHPI creatives in entertainment face in the workplace in our recent study with CAPE here.)

TAAF created the Lights, Camera, AANHPI! A Creative Development Directory as a centralized resource that supports and advances AANHPI careers and creative work inᅠ entertainment. This directory hosts more than 200 opportunities for creatives in front of and behind the camera, from script development labs to mentorship and training programs to fellowships and residencies. These opportunities are curated for AANHPI and BIPOC communities, as well as those who identify as women, gender nonbinary, LGBTQ+, youth, elders, immigrants, veterans and people with disabilities.

Please let us know if we are missing any programs or you’d like to have your program added by emailing narrativechange@taaf.org

Explore the directory below by searching for keywords or click ‘Filter Table’ on the top right corner to search by location, profession, the type of opportunity, and more.
