Our Approach
We’re protecting neighborhoods, strengthening small businesses, and ensuring families can live, work, and thrive without fear.
TAAF does this by:
Standing up for the community through incident response, supporting victims, and advocating for accountability.
Finding new ways to make cities safer, leveraging key initiatives and partnerships to share best practices, improve local infrastructure, and expand access to safety trainings so residents can live without fear of discrimination and attack.
Investing in critical research to inform our communities’ greatest needs and gain a greater understanding of how AAPIs are affected by physical assault, discrimination, verbal harassment, and targeted robbery.
Collaborating, investing, and building solutions – from street lights to ambassador programs – with partners at scale, and advocating for more resources that promote security, protection, and community healing.
